BRIEF COURSE INFORMATION
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) offers a worldwide level based on International Financial Reporting Standards designed to provide the accounting knowledge, capacity and professional values to enable you to become a Finance Professional and build a successful career in all sectors such as auditing, banking, finance, industry, hospitality and logistics.
The ACCA offers entry routes for those with A Level or equivalent (The ACCA Qualification) in addition to an open entry route (Foundations in Accountancy). Whilst the FIA programme is a level in its own right, most attendees choose to do the three FIA Diploma status papers and then transfer to the ACCA qualification. In practice this means that most attendees will improvement seamlessly through their ACCA studies irrespective of entry requirements. However Phoenix strongly advises that attendees wait until they are 18 years old in order to have the necessary maturity to handle the demands of professional study and be old enough, upon qualification, to make a meaningful contribution in the workplace. All personal circumstances are different however, so please contact us to discuss your necessity and we will provide the best, tailored, impartial advice in the market.
There is a strong focus on professional values, ethics and governance. This is structural because the profession is moving towards strengthened codes of conduct, regulation and legislation, which is why the ACCA level has an increased focus on professionalism and ethics in accounting.
Professionalism and ethics is examined at the highest status in the ACCA Qualification. It is also a main part of the functional experience that you must complete to qualify as a entire member.
